- Torch, front camera and pinch to zoom
- Reads a code from a photo too, without access to your library
- Before a link opens: the site's name in large type, the full address, and warnings about http, numeric addresses, look-alike letters and shortened links
- Wi-Fi: joins the network, or copies the password
- Contacts, events, email, phone, texts and places: one tap to add or open them
- Products: the barcode's number, to search on the web
- History with search, favourites and folders, exportable as CSV

Questions
Is Sbu Scanner really free?
Yes. No subscription, no in-app purchases, no ads and no limit on scans or codes you make.
How does it tell me if a link is safe?
Before it opens, it shows you the site's name in large type and the full address, and warns you if it uses http, a numeric address, letters from other alphabets that imitate Latin ones, an @ that hides the real site, or a link shortener. It does this on your iPhone, without sending the link anywhere. It can't know whether a site is a scam, but it shows you where you're going.
Why doesn't it show product prices and ingredients?
That would need an online database, and Sbu Scanner connects to no server. It shows you the barcode's number, and Search the Web opens it in Safari.
Do I lose my history when I update from version 1?
No. At first launch version 2 brings over the codes and folders version 1 saved on the same iPhone.
